Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years experience in event management or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
  • at least 1 year experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage events of average complexity
  • Experience collaborating with sales, property departments, and customers
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to lead and manage event teams
  • Proficiency in billing and operational procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of experience in event management or related field
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with at least 1 year experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively
  • Knowledge of event management trends and best practices
  • Experience in customer service and problem resolution
  • Leadership skills to guide teams and coordinate event operations

Job Duties

  • Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with sales and property departments to ensure seamless service
  • Manage events of average complexity from pre-event through post-event phases
  • Act as liaison between field salesperson, customer, and internal teams throughout event process
  • Manage group room blocks and meeting spaces for assigned groups
  • Conduct formal pre- and post-event meetings to review group needs and feedback
  • Ensure billing accuracy and conduct bill reviews with clients prior to final processing
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest complaints effectively
