Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience in event management or related area
- Or 2-year degree from accredited university in relevant field
- At least 1 year experience in event management if degree holder
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage complex event logistics
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
- Availability to work flexible hours
- Proficient in event management software
- Ability to lead event teams
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of event management or related experience
- 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Customer service orientation
- Leadership experience
- Knowledge of event trends and design
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams
Job Duties
- Prepare all event documentation
- Coordinate with sales, property departments, and customers to ensure service consistency
- Manage event logistics and operations
- Greet customers during events and liaise with Event Operations team
- Ensure billing accuracy and review billing with clients
- Manage group room blocks and meeting space
- Identify and solve operational challenges
- Act as liaison throughout event process
- Participate in customer site inspections
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest complaints
- Conduct pre- and post-event meetings
- Assist in sales process and revenue forecasting
- Review guest feedback and provide employee performance feedback
- Implement corrective action plans
- Continually improve event management practices
