Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience in event management or related area OR 2-year degree in hospitality or related field
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage events of average complexity
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to lead meetings and coordinate teams
  • Proficiency in coordinating with sales and operations
  • Commitment to uphold company policies
  • Flexibility to handle operational challenges

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years experience in event management or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with at least 1 year experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple event logistics
  • Customer service excellence
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams and clients
  • Knowledge of current trends in event management

Job Duties

  • Prepare all event documentation
  • Coordinate with Sales, property departments, and customers
  • Manage events from pre-event to post-event phases
  • Handle event logistics and operational details
  • Ensure billing accuracy and conduct bill reviews
  • Manage group room blocks and meeting spaces
  • Act as liaison between sales and customers
  • Participate in customer site inspections
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout events
  • Handle guest problems and complaints
  • Lead formal pre- and post-event meetings
  • Assist in the sales process and revenue forecasting
  • Up-sell products and services
  • Review guest satisfaction and provide feedback
  • Facilitate corrective action plans
