Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Public Relations, Communication, or closely related field
- two years of directly related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- successful completion of background check including fingerprinting
- enrollment in continuous RAP Back program
- ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, stoop, squat, and lift up to 30 pounds
- willingness to travel for meetings or training
Job Qualifications

- proficiency in computer software and social media management
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- knowledge of event planning and contract negotiation

Job Duties
- Plan, organize, and coordinate details of events and activities at Arts & Culture venues
- conduct facility tours and site inspections
- cultivate and maintain professional relationships with clients
- respond to inquiries about scheduling rooms and event spaces
- meet with clients to discuss setup options, calculate cost estimates, and review requirements
- negotiate and finalize rental contracts, manage event calendar, accept deposits and payments
- act as primary point of contact for clients and coordinate event details with internal staff
- cooperate with marketing to promote and publicize events
- monitor and manage social media channels
- enforce rules and regulations regarding facility use
- arrange last-minute adjustments and resolve problems during events
- monitor events to ensure compliance with contracts and safety requirements
- maintain database of events, contacts, and authorized caterers
- prepare financial, statistical, and administrative reports
