Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, development, fundraising, sales, or event planning
  • 5+ years of experience successfully planning large fundraising events with documented results
  • Willingness to travel to meet vendors and lead events including evenings and weekends
  • Experience leading contract negotiations for vendor support
  • Excellent communication, relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently
  • Must be highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must display a high degree of professionalism and integrity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Comfort and compassion in working with individuals facing mental health issues and addiction
  • Commitment to MnTC's culture of honor and core values
  • Must pass background check
  • Must have unrestricted access to driving privileges

Job Duties

  • Participate/drive planning and implementation of assigned events to engage donor audiences and meet fundraising goals
  • Coordinate with internal team and local vendors to plan and implement all events efficiently
  • Ensure consistency across events
  • Track event expenses to ensure budget compliance
  • Communicate with timely reports from event conception to post-event evaluations and recommendations
  • Keep accurate event registration records and contact lists
  • Work with the marketing team for design of all event materials
  • Schedule and lead regular meetings with stakeholders to plan events
