Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in event management
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Experience working with faith-based or nonprofit organizations is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management software
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during events

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in event management, preferably in faith-based or nonprofit organizations
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clergy, executives, staff, and volunteers
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate major conferences and special events for the Napa Institute
  • Negotiate and manage venue contracts including review with leadership
  • Collaborate on event budgeting and monitor expenditures
  • Manage event registrations and communications with attendees
  • Develop detailed event schedules and coordinate speakers and participants
  • Serve as liaison with vendors and approve related event logistics
  • Oversee daily operations during events and manage staff and volunteers
  • Complete post-event reconciliations and provide improvement reports
