Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in event management or related area
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in related field
- at least 1 year of event management experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple departments
- Customer service focus
- Ability to manage billing and financial details
- Leadership and team coordination skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Availability to work full time onsite

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years experience in event management or related area
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with at least 1 year of experience in event management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in event management procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with diverse teams
- Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and customer needs
- Experience in leading teams and conducting meetings
- Knowledge of billing and revenue forecasting
- Customer service orientation with ability to handle complaints professionally
- Familiarity with current trends in event design and management
Job Duties
- Prepare event documentation and coordinate with sales, property departments, and customers
- Manage event logistics and ensure seamless event progression
- Greet customers during event phases and hand-off to operations team
- Ensure billing accuracy and conduct bill reviews with clients
- Manage group room blocks and meeting space for assigned groups
- Identify and solve operational challenges related to events
- Lead pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups
- Act as liaison between salesperson and customer during event process
- Participate in customer site inspections and assist sales
- Deliver exceptional customer service and handle guest complaints
- Empower employees to provide excellent service
- Communicate event details effectively to customers and property operations
- Follow up with customers post-event
- Conduct human resources activities including review of feedback and service behavior observations
- Support sales by up-selling products and forecasting revenues
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
