Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2 to 3 years of event planning and management experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 30 percent of the time
- Experience working in nonprofit or member-based organizations preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and embrace the sport of lacrosse

Job Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience in event planning or management
- Previous experience in sports, entertainment, or hospitality preferred
- Familiarity with event logistics, vendor management, and scheduling
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable managing others and providing direction during events
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit good judgment
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and willingness to travel
- Valid driver’s license for business travel
- Alignment with USA Lacrosse’s mission, vision, values, and strategic plan
Job Duties
- Builds and manages comprehensive event schedules including game timelines and logistical details
- Manages participant registration process and communications with teams and vendors
- Serves as point of contact for venue partners during planning and execution
- Provides event information to marketing team to align promotional materials
- Collaborates with partnership and sponsorship team to ensure partner deliverables are met
- Coordinates with event coordinator regarding volunteer needs and coverage
- Maintains and updates internal planning documents including standard operating procedures
- Serves as liaison between events team and internal departments for clear communication
- Manages customer service inquiries related to registration and event logistics
- Supports data collection efforts like attendance tracking and post-event surveys
- Assists in developing recap reports to improve future events
- Promotes a collaborative culture of open communication and problem-solving
