Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Multiple years of experience in an upscale restaurant and/or hotel environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally
  • Flexible availability to work mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to policies

Job Duties

  • Oversee and execute all aspects of event planning and coordination within The Manchester, Granddam, and Lost Palm
  • Work closely with clients to understand their event needs
  • Ensure seamless communication between the sales and banquet teams
  • Manage all event details from start to finish
  • Attend pre-event and day-of meetings
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Address any service issues that arise throughout the event's life cycle
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for guests and staff
  • Manage banquet event orders (BEOs) with timely and accurate billing
  • Collaborate with various departments to guarantee smooth event operations
  • Act as primary liaison between the sales department and banquet team
  • Attend and participate in BEO meetings
  • Update billing details for smooth transactions
  • Cultivate and maintain an inviting, professional environment
  • Proactively resolve service issues with the food and beverage team
  • Maintain friendly yet unobtrusive guest interaction
  • Oversee daily conditions of meeting spaces including facilities and equipment
  • Recommend improvements or repairs as necessary
  • Demonstrate thorough food and beverage expertise
  • Communicate effectively with other departments
  • Ensure workplace safety compliance
  • Adhere to all departmental policies, service procedures, and operational fundamentals
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments
