Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience
  • minimum 3 years in event planning and management
  • demonstrated contract negotiation skills
  • budget management experience
  • vendor coordination and relationship management skills
  • ability to travel up to 25 percent
  • proficiency with Microsoft 365, Asana, Slack
  • proactive problem solving skills
  • strong organizational and project management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal ability
  • able to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • positive and team-oriented approach

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience
  • at least 3 years in event planning and management
  • experience in contract negotiation
  • skilled in budget management
  • vendor coordination and relationship management
  • experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations preferred
  • familiarity with Jewish communal life and organizational contexts a plus
  • proficiency with Microsoft 365, Asana, and Slack

Job Duties

  • Lead the planning and execution of flagship events such as the biennial Leaders Assembly
  • manage event timelines, vendor relationships, and internal team coordination
  • oversee event budgets ensuring fiscal accuracy and accountability
  • develop and maintain the master calendar of organizational events
  • serve as lead staff for designated events overseeing all logistics including venue selection and speaker coordination
  • support and train staff in event management and logistics for smaller scale events
  • establish and refine event planning processes and operational protocols
