Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • At least three years of event planning and execution experience
  • Strong budget management and financial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to travel between San Antonio and Austin as needed
  • Proficiency in project management
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Willingness to work in hybrid environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of experience in event planning and execution
  • Experience with media, community, or brand events preferred
  • Strong budget management skills with P and L ownership
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Effective communication and vendor negotiation skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong multitasking abilities across multiple projects and locations
  • Collaborative mindset and proactive attitude

Job Duties

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and production of flagship events across Austin and San Antonio
  • Ensure each event meets revenue goals and timelines
  • Manage budgets, contracts, timelines, and logistics
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, editorial, and sponsors to build strategic event experiences
  • Oversee event execution from kickoff to teardown
  • Track key performance indicators and gather insights to improve events annually
  • Coordinate and lead teams during on-site event production
