Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- 4-6 years of event planning experience including large scale events
- Ability to travel up to 25% annually
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Experience with managing event budgets and vendor contracts
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with event management software
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years of event planning or trade show management experience including events with 200-500+ attendees
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation encouraged
- Experience managing multiple concurrent events
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency with event/project management software such as Wrike, Cvent, Monday
- Ability to mentor junior staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze event metrics and ROI
Job Duties
- Own mid-to-large scale events such as regional conferences and trade shows
- Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, and payment schedules
- Develop and execute event strategies aligned with business objectives
- Lead pre-event meetings, stakeholder alignment and post-event debriefs
- Oversee registration, onsite logistics, AV, catering, and venue management
- Analyze event performance including attendance, ROI, and lead capture and present reports
- Mentor junior event coordinators and specialists
- Ensure all events align with the company's brand and messaging
- Assess potential risks related to event execution and develop contingency plans
- Collaborate with marketing teams to maximize the impact and value of events
- Source and evaluate event venues, catering services, entertainment, and suppliers
- Gather feedback from attendees, stakeholders, and team members and report on event success
- Manage other projects as assigned
