Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience in event management or related field
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in related major
- at least 1 year experience in event management
- strong communication skills
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively

- proficiency in coordinating events of average complexity

- knowledge of hospitality industry standards
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED with 1-2 years event management experience
- or 2-year degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major with at least 1 year experience
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to manage multiple event logistics
- experience in customer service and guest relations
- proficiency in revenue forecasting and upselling techniques
- leadership experience in managing teams
- ability to handle guest complaints professionally

Job Duties
- preparing all event documentation
- coordinating with sales, property departments and customers
- ensuring seamless event services throughout all event phases
- managing billing accuracy and client bill reviews
- managing group room blocks and meeting spaces
- identifying and resolving operational challenges
- integrating event management trends
- acting as liaison between sales and customers
- participating in customer site inspections
- soliciting feedback to improve experience
- delivering excellent customer service
- empowering employees to provide excellent service
- setting positive example for guest relations
- communicating event details verbally and in writing
- overseeing customer experience until turnover back to sales
- handling guest problems and complaints
- enhancing customer experience
- conducting pre- and post-event meetings
- facilitating necessary meetings such as banquet event order and block review
- assisting in sales process and revenue forecasting
- up-selling products and services
- reviewing guest satisfaction results with employees
- providing employee feedback
- supporting development and implementation of corrective actions
- addressing operational challenges with property staff and customers
- performing other duties as assigned
