Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience in event management or related field
  • or 2-year degree from accredited university in relevant major
  • at least 1 year experience in event management or related professional area
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple event-related tasks
  • customer service orientation
  • proficiency in coordinating with various departments
  • ability to solve operational challenges
  • commitment to provide excellent guest experience

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED with 1-2 years experience in event management or related field
  • or 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with at least 1 year experience
  • knowledge of event management procedures
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to coordinate and communicate event details effectively
  • experience in managing group logistics and billing
  • leadership skills to conduct pre- and post-event meetings
  • proficiency in up-selling and revenue forecasting

Job Duties

  • prepare all event documentation
  • coordinate with sales, property departments, and customers to ensure service consistency
  • manage event logistics and operations including group room blocks and meeting space
  • greet customers during events and oversee hand-off to Event Operations team
  • ensure billing accuracy and review bills with clients
  • identify and resolve operational challenges
  • act as liaison between sales and customers throughout event phases
  • participate in customer site inspections and assist sales process
  • solicit feedback from property departments to improve event planning experience
