Job Requirements
- Position requires occasional moving around with light (1-10lbs) carrying lifting pushing or pulling
- The position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access files office equipment etc
- The position is mostly sedentary and requires the employee to have close visual acuity to perform job requirements
- The position requires frequent communication with team members and repetitive motion with the hands wrists and/or fingers while constantly utilizing a computer
- This position is located within an office environment and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions

Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of event management experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Outstanding organizational planning and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office Word Excel Outlook
- Ability to balance multiple projects prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable to varying work schedules including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Oversee all event logistics including course setup start/finish line arrangements waste management medical services and online registration platforms
- Work with local officials sponsors law enforcement health departments race entertainment teams timing partners race crews and subcontractors
- Recruit assign and manage volunteers for various event roles
- Coordinate supplies equipment post-run meals awards participant shirts and finisher medals
- Ensure the safety of all participants volunteers and staff throughout the event lifecycle
- Adhere to all Fleet Feet Brand Standards and Guidelines
- Build and maintain trust from staff customers and the community by using good judgment
