Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience in event management or related field
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university
  • At least 1 year experience in event management
  • Ability to follow established procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Capability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to collaborate across departments
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of experience in event management or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with at least 1 year experience in event management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
  • Customer service orientation
  • Experience with event logistics and billing
  • Leadership and team coordination skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare all event documentation
  • Coordinate with Sales, property departments and customers
  • Ensure high level service during pre-event, event and post-event phases
  • Manage group room blocks and meeting space
  • Ensure billing accuracy and conduct bill reviews
  • Lead pre- and post-event meetings
  • Upsell products and services
  • Respond to guest problems and complaints
  • Participate in customer site inspections
  • Collaborate with property staff to solve operational challenges
