Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing business administration communications or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event management or relevant roles
  • Proven ability to manage complex event logistics and budgets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with event management software and virtual event technologies
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for event execution
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality experiences

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute SSA Marine's annual event strategy ensuring alignment with business and marketing goals across tradeshows conferences executive events and owned experiences
  • Lead all aspects of event management including venue selection vendor negotiations booth design collateral registration sponsorships travel and logistics for both in-person and virtual formats
  • Partner closely with business and marketing teams to identify event opportunities that drive brand awareness generate leads and deepen customer relationships
  • Own the event budget from forecasting to reconciliation track spend against performance and deliver ROI reporting
  • Serve as an ambassador of SSA Marine's vision and values ensuring a consistent brand voice and experience across all events and touchpoints
  • Work closely with the communications and business teams on the development of collateral and presentation materials associated with company events
  • Coordinate the budget and inventory for promotional and logo items for general stock trade shows employee events etc make recommendations on appropriate gift and promotional items as appropriate
  • Deliver post-event reports with data-driven insights and recommendations to continuously optimize SSA Marine's event strategy
  • Provide support and coordination for other corporate activities and events such as holiday party summer picnic as directed by company leadership
