Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or 2-year degree in related field
  • 1-2 years experience in event management or related professional area
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Availability to work full-time at the St Petersburg location

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years experience in event management or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with at least 1 year experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and coordinate teams
  • Knowledge of current trends in event management and design
  • Customer service orientation
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and coordinate all event documentation
  • Collaborate with sales, property departments, and customers to ensure high-level service
  • Manage event logistics and operations to ensure seamless event progression
  • Greet customers during events and facilitate hand-off to Event Operations team
  • Ensure billing accuracy and conduct bill reviews with clients
  • Manage group room blocks and meeting spaces for assigned groups
  • Act as liaison between field salesperson and customer throughout event phases
