Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, public relations, nonprofit management or related field
  • Three years' demonstrable experience planning large-scale events
  • Equivalent work experience planning events may be substituted
  • Ability to pass criminal and driving records screenings and reference checks
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be insured
  • Ability to work primarily indoors and operate janitorial and office equipment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, reach, bend, and lift objects over 25 lbs
  • Strong English proficiency for effective communication and safety adherence

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, public relations, nonprofit management or related field
  • Three years' experience planning large-scale events
  • Experience working in nonprofit fundraising or advancement
  • Proficiency with event management and donor database software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners
  • Problem-solving skills related to fundraising and donor relations

Job Duties

  • Design and execute large-scale fundraising events
  • Manage event logistics including vendor coordination and volunteer management
  • Maintain and utilize event management software like RE NXT
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strengthen community engagement
  • Provide training and support to volunteers and donors for event participation
  • Adapt quickly to changing event requirements and solve problems on the fly
  • Ensure high-quality experiences for donors through effective communication and stewardship
