Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years relevant event management experience OR 2-year college degree in a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments
- Proficient in event planning software and tools
- Ability to handle customer interactions professionally
- Willingness to work flexible hours including event times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years event management experience
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with at least 1 year event management experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively
- Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
- Experience in event logistics and operations
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles related to events
Job Duties
- Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with sales, property departments, and customers to ensure seamless service throughout event phases
- Manage group room blocks and meeting spaces for assigned groups
- Ensure billing accuracy and review bills with clients
- Serve as liaison between sales and customers from pre-event to post-event
- Conduct formal pre- and post-event meetings for assigned groups
- Participate in customer site inspections and assist in sales process
- Deliver exceptional customer service and handle guest complaints
- Lead event management teams and oversee event activities
- Assist in sales forecasting and up-selling of products and services
- Review guest feedback and provide employee coaching
- Implement corrective action plans and improve service performance
