Job Requirements
- Minimum of five years of progressive experience in marketing, project management, event management, or trade show operations within a corporate or technology-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related discipline required
- Ability to travel up to 30 percent
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift/move objects up to 25 pounds
- Fluent written and oral communication in English
- Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Compliance with company policies on security, privacy, and data management
Job Qualifications

- Advanced education or certifications in event or certified project management are a plus
- Proven track record of planning and executing complex, multi-faceted events with measurable business outcomes
- Exceptional organizational acumen, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Ability to travel up to 30 percent
- Fluent written and oral communication in English
Job Duties
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of trade shows and events, managing logistics, communications, and performance outcomes
- Oversee multiple events simultaneously and deliver events that align with business goals and brand standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions Consulting, Finance, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure event strategies align with organizational priorities and drive measurable results
- Partner closely with the integrated Marketing team to drive cohesive planning, messaging, and execution that maximizes the impact and success of each event
- Use stakeholder feedback and data insights to inform event selection, trade show participation, and strategy improvements, continuously refining planning and on-site execution
- Manage comprehensive event budgets, including forecasting, expense tracking, and reconciliation, ensuring fiscal discipline, transparency, and budgets track to original forecasts
- Oversee attendee registration processes for hosted events, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a seamless experience for participants
- Lead strategy and planning sessions for each event, including pre-event briefings, internal/external strategy alignment meetings, and post-event debriefs
- Maintain detailed run-of-show schedules to ensure seamless delivery
- Coordinate with venues and vendors to manage all event logistics, including space setup, AV, internet, shipping, and compliance with facility requirements
- Oversee marketing asset management for events, including collateral, branded merchandise, and promotional materials, ensuring consistency with brand standards and timely delivery
- Track and report on event performance, maintaining dashboards that capture key metrics such as attendance, engagement, and lead generation outcomes
- Serve as a key workstream owner for the CONNECT Annual Conference and other high-profile, company-hosted events, ensuring seamless cross-functional execution and attendee satisfaction
- Plan and support roadshows and other hosted events designed to strengthen relationships, accelerate deals, lead generation and enhance Q2 brand visibility
- Own and manage event technology tools, partnering with Operations and Technology teams to ensure data accuracy, system efficiency, and a seamless attendee experience
- Oversee post-event lead management, ensure accurate tracking of event leads and ensure timely follow-up by Integrated Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams
- Ensure compliance with company policies on security, privacy, and data management in all event-related activities
- Maintain and organize the marketing inventory and storage area
- Represent Q2 internally and externally at industry events, and partner gatherings, serving as a brand ambassador and strengthening strategic relationships
