Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree
  • Four plus years of experience in the hospitality industry
  • Experience in 5-star hotels or event planning
  • Proven skills in food and beverage service
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage guest experiences tactfully
  • High level of organization and multitasking
  • Working knowledge of audio-visual systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Knowledge of EMS booking system
  • Flexibility to work in fast-paced environments
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts covering conference center hours and locations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree
  • Four plus years of experience in hospitality industry, 5-star hotels, event planning, and food & beverage with high touch customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage guest experiences and expectations with tact and diplomacy
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
  • Working knowledge of audio-visual systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of EMS booking system
  • Flexibility to thrive in fast-paced and diverse environments
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts

Job Duties

  • Oversee meetings and events, collaborating with catering, AV, and facilities to exceed client expectations
  • Provide high-touch customer service by greeting clients daily
  • Handle client challenges proactively, driving effective solutions while maintaining a positive experience
  • Maintain a professional, flexible, and can-do attitude, delivering exceptional service
  • Participate in daily operations meetings and weekly reviews to stay informed on upcoming events
  • Execute pre- and post-conference calls or meetings thoroughly, managing all details
  • Manage space issues efficiently and escalate unresolved matters as needed
  • Cover reception desk functions, including answering calls, returning emails, and escorting clients
  • Master the EMS to detail reservations, review requests, and generate reports
  • Communicate clearly between planning team and reservation holders
  • Prioritize new meeting room reservations ensuring timely processing and client updates
