Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of related cook experience
  • excellent knife skills

Job Duties

  • Ability to work in a clean, organized, and efficient manner in a high-pressure environment
  • have experience on multiple stations in the kitchen
  • ensuring that food portions and food presentation meets events standards
  • must have excellent knife skills and proficiency in all aspects of cooking
  • assists the culinary management team with food preparation as assigned
  • maintains a working knowledge of food preparation for standard menu items
  • maintains a clean work environment, including floors and passages
  • cleans kitchen and equipment as assigned by the culinary management team
  • assists in keeping all food storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, etc. clean and organized
  • assisting the unloading of deliveries
  • manage a team of 15 or more kitchen assistances
  • work closely with event captain to create a positive client experience
  • ensure sanitation standards meet city compliance
  • work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • assist with set-up and cleaning operational areas
