Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 2 years catering or cooking experience
- proficiency in kitchen knife skills
- ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
- excellent communication skills
- flexible availability including weekends and evenings
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- willingness to work collaboratively in a team
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Professional work ethic
- minimum 2 years of related off-premise catering or cook experience
- ability to prepare and execute key components of dishes ensuring quality and accuracy
- effective communication skills and ability to follow supervisor directions
- flexible to work weekends and evenings
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and proactively solve problems
- team player supporting fellow cooks
- ability to meet physical demands including prolonged standing, walking, and lifting over 30 pounds
- culinary degree preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Prepare and finish all hot and cold foods according to event recipes and standards
- work efficiently and cleanly in a high-pressure environment
- operate on multiple kitchen stations
- ensure food portions and presentation meet Events standards
- demonstrate excellent knife skills and cooking proficiency
- assist Culinary Management with food preparation
- maintain cleanliness of kitchen, floors, and equipment
- keep food storage areas organized and clean
- assist with unloading deliveries
