Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 2 years catering or cooking experience
  • proficiency in kitchen knife skills
  • ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • excellent communication skills
  • flexible availability including weekends and evenings
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
  • willingness to work collaboratively in a team
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Professional work ethic
  • minimum 2 years of related off-premise catering or cook experience
  • ability to prepare and execute key components of dishes ensuring quality and accuracy
  • effective communication skills and ability to follow supervisor directions
  • flexible to work weekends and evenings
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and proactively solve problems
  • team player supporting fellow cooks
  • ability to meet physical demands including prolonged standing, walking, and lifting over 30 pounds
  • culinary degree preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Prepare and finish all hot and cold foods according to event recipes and standards
  • work efficiently and cleanly in a high-pressure environment
  • operate on multiple kitchen stations
  • ensure food portions and presentation meet Events standards
  • demonstrate excellent knife skills and cooking proficiency
  • assist Culinary Management with food preparation
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen, floors, and equipment
  • keep food storage areas organized and clean
  • assist with unloading deliveries
