Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing Communications Public Relations Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field
  • Strong interest in event planning and community engagement
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic graphic design tools such as Canva is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required
  • Reliable transportation is required

Job Duties

  • Assist in the logistical planning and coordination of events including venue selection vendor communication and materials procurement
  • Help prepare event timelines checklists and run-of-show documents
  • Support on-site event setup registration and tear-down
  • Coordinate event volunteers and staff as needed
  • Assist in developing promotional materials for events such as flyers social media graphics email campaigns and website content
  • Help manage event registration processes and track attendance
  • Represent the credit union professionally at community events promoting services and values
