Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • strong interest in event planning and community engagement
  • excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • familiarity with social media platforms and basic graphic design tools is a plus
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required for events
  • reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Assist in the logistical planning and coordination of events, including venue selection, vendor communication, and materials procurement
  • help prepare event timelines, checklists, and run-of-show documents
  • support on-site event setup, registration, and tear-down
  • coordinate event volunteers and staff as needed
  • assist in developing promotional materials for events, such as flyers, social media graphics, email campaigns, and website content
  • help manage event registration processes and track attendance
  • contribute to social media content creation and scheduling related to events
  • represent the credit union professionally at community events, promoting our services and values
  • assist with collecting member feedback and event evaluations
  • help identify potential community partnerships and sponsorship opportunities
  • maintain accurate event records, including budgets, attendance data, and contact lists
  • process invoices and track event expenses
  • assist with general administrative tasks as assigned by the Marketing and Community Relations team
  • other duties as assigned
