Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- strong interest in event planning and community engagement
- excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- familiarity with social media platforms and basic graphic design tools is a plus
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required for events
- reliable transportation

Job Duties
- Assist in the logistical planning and coordination of events, including venue selection, vendor communication, and materials procurement
- help prepare event timelines, checklists, and run-of-show documents
- support on-site event setup, registration, and tear-down
- coordinate event volunteers and staff as needed
- assist in developing promotional materials for events, such as flyers, social media graphics, email campaigns, and website content
- help manage event registration processes and track attendance
- contribute to social media content creation and scheduling related to events
- represent the credit union professionally at community events, promoting our services and values
- assist with collecting member feedback and event evaluations
- help identify potential community partnerships and sponsorship opportunities
- maintain accurate event records, including budgets, attendance data, and contact lists
- process invoices and track event expenses
- assist with general administrative tasks as assigned by the Marketing and Community Relations team
- other duties as assigned
