Job Requirements

  • minimum of 18 years of age
  • proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Workspace
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • ability to travel locally for off-site events

Job Qualifications

  • high school degree or equivalent
  • enrolled in an accredited university or college
  • proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Workspace
  • knowledge of Canva is a plus
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • ability to travel locally for off-site events

Job Duties

  • assist lead event planner with functions including attending company and networking events on- or off-site
  • assist in preparing information and event materials including creating and maintaining PowerPoint/Canva presentations
  • perform clerical duties such as email communication, maintaining files, organizing documents, photocopying, and shredding
  • manage databases and input of information, data, and records
  • coordinate set up, break down, organizing, and maintenance of conference, training, and meeting rooms
  • order or assemble supplies and decorations
  • research vendors and track event schedules
  • perform other work and responsibilities as assigned
