Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in event planning, student recruitment, or related fields
  • Experience can include volunteer, internship, or student roles
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail with high accuracy
  • Project coordination capability from planning to follow-up
  • Problem-solving and sound judgment skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and work within deadlines
  • Preferred master’s degree
  • Preferred experience planning large and small events
  • Preferred budget management experience
  • Preferred knowledge of university policies and procedures
  • Preferred experience with databases and web applications

Job Duties

  • Plan and implement strategic recruiting events to attract prospective students and families
  • Coordinate event logistics including site selection, program development, and execution
  • Manage event experiences to engage parents, alumni, counselors, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all events aligned with university values
  • Develop organized and measurable event production plans
  • Conduct post-event analysis to assess impact and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with team members to foster inclusive and effective communication
