Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in events coordination, catering, or related hotel operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend availability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in catering, events, or hotel operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Passion for hospitality and building a career with Hilton Hotels
  • Knowledge of booking systems advantageous

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • Handle phone calls, e-mails and greet clients for catering and events in a professional, courteous manner
  • Input programs in booking systems, manage VIP guest arrangements, and coordinate site visits
  • Create and communicate documents including but not limited to BEOs, group resumes, post event reports, menus, diagrams, and floor plans
  • Work with affiliate groups
  • Assist with clients and deliver on the client's expectations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues and determine the best solution for the client
  • Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
  • Perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
  • Maintain regular attendance
