Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in events coordination or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional weekend availability
  • Passion for hospitality industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in catering, events, or hotel operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • Communicate in a timely manner to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • Handle phone calls, emails and greet clients for catering and events professionally and courteously
  • Input programs in booking systems, manage VIP guest arrangements, and coordinate site visits
  • Create and communicate documents including BEOs, group resumes, post event reports, menus, and diagrams or floor plans
  • Work with affiliate groups
  • Assist with clients and deliver on client expectations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems and processes
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues to determine the best solution for clients
  • Ensure high quality service by assisting others to understand guest needs
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
  • Perform other duties based on business needs
  • Maintain regular attendance
