Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- retail and/or customer service experience required
- experience working with children and conducting children’s events
- good communication skills including written, verbal, nonverbal and listening skills
- ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
- energetic and enthusiastic personality
- ability to remain standing for long periods
- ability to move throughout the store
- capability for regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching
- ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment
- must comply with federal, state, and local job legal requirements

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage with clients of all ages creating an environment of fun and creativity
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities such as face painting
- facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- communicate events with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks like answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust event plans based on client feedback
- create backup or emergency plans as needed
- ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up, breaking down, and cleaning event areas
- help customers shop and locate products
- provide fast and friendly checkout
- promote Rewards program and credit card enrollments
- educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes
- participate in truck un-loading and stocking
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- maintain positive and respectful interactions
- cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, and restroom maintenance
