Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- previous experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- ability to work in physically demanding environment including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
- willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
- strong communication skills
- ability to handle stressful situations calmly
- basic math skills
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- must complete a sanitation course either before or during the first year as a lead
- ability to perform basic arithmetic
- maintain emotional control under stress
- ability to resolve interpersonal situations
- strong organizational skills

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules
- prepare production records
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production ensuring safety and quality
- ensure food storage is safe and hazard-free
- maintain serving schedules
- ensure food items are served per menu specifications
- maintain sanitary environment according to health codes
- maintain accurate inventory weekly
- prepare vendor orders as needed
- operate an efficient cost-effective program
- supervise and evaluate employees
- counsel staff
- promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
