Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand or walk for extended periods
willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment
ability to adapt to changing duties
basic food safety knowledge

Job Qualifications

Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
must complete a sanitation course either before or during the first year as a lead
ability to perform basic arithmetic
maintain emotional control under stress
ability to resolve interpersonal situations
strong organizational skills

Job Duties

Produce and maintain work schedules
prepare production records
direct daily activities
maintain food production safety and quality according to policies and department requirements
ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
maintain serving schedules according to menu specifications and departmental policies
maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes
maintain accurate inventory weekly
prepare orders per vendor to ensure production accuracy
operate an efficient and cost-effective program
supervise and evaluate employees
counsel and promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
