Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of experience working in live event industry or event operations
- Must have a Class C vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Ability to work nights and weekends including breaks and holidays as needed
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage and oversee staff
- Knowledge of NCAA and SEC Conference regulations
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to venue operations
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of experience in live event industry or event operations
- Class C driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Previous experience managing student staff preferred
- Knowledge of building management and venue operations preferred
- Familiarity with power tools preferred
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of NCAA and SEC rules and regulations preferred
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to allocate work assignments effectively
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Job Duties
- Identify maintenance issues throughout athletic venues and coordinate repair work
- Coordinate staff for venue requests including equipment moves and light maintenance
- Prepare and prioritize work orders and communicate with coaches and staff
- Conduct regular inspections for cleanliness, safety, and accessibility
- Monitor media sources to identify events impacting facilities
- Serve as after-hours contact for assigned venues
- Lead or assist in game day venue management including setup and breakdown
- Provide on-site customer liaison during events
- Assist with venue-related in-game management
- Coordinate with Events Management for special events
- Oversee operations student assistant staff including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Maintain venue operations guides and recommend policy updates
- Coordinate with access management and branding for assigned venues
- Ensure compliance with NCAA, Conference, and University rules
- Communicate enforcement of rules to staff and student workers supervised
