Job Requirements
- event planning experience required
- minimum 1-2 years in recreation, hospitality, marketing, communication or related fields preferred
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications required
- experience with website content management systems preferred
- knowledge of graphic software such as Adobe, Publisher, Photoshop, and InDesign preferred
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- excellent organizational and strategic planning skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- valid driver’s license
- availability to work varied and flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to travel for work-related activities
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- develop and coordinate all phases of event planning including research, design, coordination, and evaluation
- manage and execute multiple events simultaneously including timelines, production schedules, risk assessments, and logistics
- coordinate event production on and off-site including setup, hosting, and teardown
- oversee budgets and contracts by processing accounting and financial matters such as invoices and purchase orders
- support district teams with event planning to ensure event success
- develop marketing plans and materials including flyers, social media, newsletters, and event registration management
- collaborate with military organizations and businesses for partnerships and sponsorships
- maintain accurate records of events including recaps, attendance, evaluations, and photos
- support department through special projects and assigned duties
- comply with OSHA, Fair Housing laws, and company policies
