Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in event coordination or planning, internships or volunteer experience considered
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
  • flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • currently in school for or has obtained college degree in hospitality or event management, preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in event coordination or planning including internships or volunteer experience
  • strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Job Duties

  • Support the events team in planning and executing events
  • respond to website and email event inquiries promptly
  • assess availability and manage event bookings
  • communicate with clients to understand event needs and relay information to the events team, attractions, venues, and vendors
  • maintain and update event data in the event management system
  • assist with event-related financial tasks such as billing, invoicing, and payment tracking
  • coordinate with caterers, beverage providers, and other vendors to ensure seamless service delivery
  • assist in developing and managing event timelines to meet all deadlines
  • ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations
  • provide on-site support during events when needed including evenings and weekends
  • cross-train to support the groups coordinator and tours and experiences coordinator functions as needed
