Job Duties

  • Lead all aspects of event planning and coordination for SOJC events in Portland
  • Assist faculty, students, and staff in envisioning and executing events from concept to completion
  • Manage event logistics including location, food, marketing, and other related details
  • Oversee assignment and usage of School spaces including classrooms and academic facilities
  • Serve as primary point of contact for SOJC and University of Oregon faculty and staff regarding events
  • Supervise student workers and contractors for event-related activities
  • Manage and coordinate the room rental program for the department
