Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to remain standing for long periods
  • ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
  • ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder
  • experience in retail or customer service
  • ability to interact effectively with guests of all ages and coworkers
  • compliance with federal, state, and local legal employment requirements
  • willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • ability to perform physical tasks as described
  • ability to uphold safety and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working with children’s events
  • retail and customer service experience
  • excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
  • strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • creative problem-solving abilities
  • energetic and enthusiastic personality

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages to create a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects, perform face painting, and facilitate party add-ons
  • communicate events with clients and team members
  • complete administrative tasks such as emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
  • ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
  • help customers shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • promote and enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards
  • assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes
  • participate in truck unloading, stocking, and merchandise recovery
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • maintain professional and respectful interactions
  • cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities
