Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 8-10 years of experience in event management
- Strong event planning experience preferably with onsite event coordination
- Program management experience of 8+ years
- Executive management experience of 5+ years
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Multi-tasking and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to keep information organised and confidential
Job Duties
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work
- Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents
- File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports
- Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails
- Prepare responses to correspondence containing routing inquiries
- Lead the team's organization and event planning
- Build out the Redmond ground experience including room booking, room set up, catering, AV capabilities, and creating social experiences
- Support "super groups" requiring continuous conference space access and adapt to daily changing responsibilities
