Job Duties
- Collaborate across the organization to support a wide range of events including community stewardship initiatives, private events, music and arts programming, holiday celebrations, and creative experiences that align with Magnolia Plantations philosophy, increase guest attendance, and drive revenue
- Lead initial event planning meetings, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Magnolias grounds and venue logistics to identify creative solutions and additional spaces that meet guest needs
- Develop detailed event schedules to ensure every element is covered and events run seamlessly
- Oversee event logistics, coordinating staff responsibilities related to traffic flow, safety and security, setup, breakdown, and close-out procedures
- Serve as the primary point of contact, welcoming guests, addressing questions and requests, and resolving concerns promptly and professionally
- Conduct regular post-event debriefs with staff to review outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement, and communicate plans and expectations for upcoming events always prioritizing guest comfort, safety, and an exceptional experience
- Take a creative lead on additional special events and projects, including birthday parties and other unique celebrations
- Learning internal systems and providing support for guest operations duties as needed
- Perform additional duties as needed to support Magnolias mission and goals, demonstrating a strong team-player mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed
