Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Capability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
- Strong communication skills including written and verbal
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Experience working with children
- Customer service experience
- Compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Ability to uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to adapt plans and solve problems creatively
Job Qualifications
- Experience working with children and children's events
- Retail or customer service experience
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Organizational and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to engage customers and promote store programs
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to store operations
- Prior experience in event coordination is desirable
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage clients of all ages to create a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons according to company standards
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks such as emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
- Ensure cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
- Help customers shop and locate products
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote Rewards program and credit card enrollments
- Support omnichannel processes including BOPIS and SFS
- Participate in truck unloading and merchandising
- Maintain merchandise recovery
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to SOPs and company policies
- Interact positively and respectfully with team members and customers
- Cross train in custom framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
