Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate a variety of events including college fairs, graduation ceremonies, and networking events
  • Develop and maintain event budgets ensuring all events are executed within allocated funds
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to align events with the university's mission and goals
  • Research and negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices and services
  • Oversee event logistics such as venue selection, catering, audio-visual needs, and transportation
  • Create and manage event timelines to ensure timely and efficient task completion
  • Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to promote events
  • Manage event registration and attendee lists
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners including local businesses and community organizations
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
  • Act as a point of contact for event-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Uphold and enforce university policies and procedures during events
  • Ensure events are inclusive and accessible
  • Maintain accurate event records and financial documentation
