Job Requirements
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- ability to move throughout the store
- regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves using ladders or similar equipment
- experience working with children and planning children’s events
- excellent people and communication skills
- retail and customer service experience required
- availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- ability to adhere to company safety and operational standards
- U.S. federal, state, and local job compliance requirements

- Experience in event coordination especially with children’s events
- excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and nonverbal
- strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- creative problem-solving abilities
- retail and/or customer service experience
- ability to work effectively with guests of all ages
- energetic and enthusiastic personality
- capable of handling job stress constructively
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities such as face painting
- facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding event details
- complete administrative tasks including answering emails and phone calls
- adjust event plans based on client feedback and develop contingency plans
- ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards including setup and breakdown of events
- assist customers with shopping and locating products
- provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
- promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
- educate customers on Voices of Customer surveys
- assist with Omni channel processes like BOPIS and Ship From Store
- participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- interact respectfully and positively with customers and team members
- cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities
