Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Event coordination or related experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with AV technology and event planning software
  • Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines
  • Experience working with seniors or in healthcare settings is preferred
  • Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
  • Valid background check and drug screening
  • Up-to-date annual influenza vaccine and TB test
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong event coordination or hospitality background
  • Excellent communication skills with residents, staff, and partners
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple events and deadlines
  • Tech-savvy with experience in AV technology, event software, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge or experience in senior living or healthcare is a plus
  • Proven problem-solving and creative thinking skills
  • Experience managing scheduling platforms and event logistics
  • Ability to build warm, authentic relationships
  • Experience conducting evaluations and driving continuous improvement

Job Duties

  • Drive the full event lifecycle from reservation to execution
  • Be the go-to expert for meeting and event support including AV, room setups, catering, and technology needs
  • Manage the events calendar with clear communication to residents and staff
  • Leverage event-planning software to streamline processes
  • Conduct pre-event walk-throughs to ensure perfection
  • Perform weekly checks to keep event spaces clean, safe, and ready
  • Coordinate setup and breakdown with internal partners
  • Provide friendly, confident AV support
  • Stay calm, professional, and safety-focused under pressure
  • Lead post-event evaluations and champion continuous improvement
  • Streamline event expenses, billing, and documentation with precision
  • Own organization-wide scheduling and master calendar
  • Capture participation data and key metrics with clarity
  • Partner with vendors and manage cost tracking
  • Collaborate with residents, staff, and community partners
  • Deliver compassionate, person-centered service
  • Communicate proactively and follow through with excellence
