Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in sports management, hospitality, event planning or related field
- prior events and/or hospitality experience
- exceptional written and oral communication skills
- organized, energetic, positive, flexible and detail-oriented
- willingness and eagerness to learn new industry standards and experiences

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Plan a range of events from small to complex
- serve as liaison between university departments and key partners
- develop relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
- collaborate with academic and external constituents to prepare event materials
- negotiate contracts regularly with leadership
- monitor events for policy compliance and regulations adherence
- supervise student staff including house managers and event interns
- serve as on-site manager during events to address issues and ensure client satisfaction
- document and evaluate events and follow-up activities
- manage business processes including revenue and expense projections
- present a professional image and provide excellent customer service
- manage multiple projects simultaneously
- coordinate with scheduling operations and event planning systems
- operate and utilize Microsoft Office suite
- identify and improve internal processes
- perform other assigned duties
