Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working with children and children's events
  • strong communication skills
  • organizational skills
  • retail or customer service experience
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry heavy boxes
  • ability to access high shelves using ladders
  • availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • ability to follow safety and cleanliness standards
  • must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities
  • facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • communicate event details with clients and store teams
  • complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
  • ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
  • help customers shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • engage customers on rewards programs and credit card enrollment
  • assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandise recovery
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to company policies and promote positive team interactions
  • cross-train in custom framing selling and production
  • perform daily store cleanliness activities
