Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail or customer service
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves
- Good communication skills
- Ability to interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- Willingness to maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to perform administrative duties and manage customer interactions
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in event coordination or retail customer service
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and listening
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to handle job stress while interacting effectively with others
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Ability to engage with customers of all ages
- Familiarity with retail and customer service environments
- Basic computer skills for administrative tasks
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects and activities such as face painting
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs
- Create backup and emergency plans as needed
- Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- Uphold company cleanliness and safety standards by setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after events
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice Of Customer survey
- Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking and planogram activities
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- Interact positively and respectfully with guests and coworkers
- Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining restroom cleanliness
- Perform other duties as assigned
