Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ event management experience
  • Degree in hospitality management, public relations or relevant field preferred
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Weekend availability up to 90%
  • Travel requirements up to 75%
  • Ability to stand for long periods and manage physical setup activities during events

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ event management experience
  • Degree in hospitality management, public relations or relevant field preferred
  • Substantial experience with G-Suite including Slides and Docs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced environment
  • Skilled in using event registration technology
  • Detail-oriented and process improvement mindset

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and execute event setups including banners, signage, and step-and-repeats
  • Handle last-minute changes during event setup or execution without disrupting event flow
  • Own assigned event day tasks ensuring efficient attendee onboarding
  • Create team packets with event details and assign duties
  • Manage staff travel receipts and follow up on bookings
  • Provide backup coverage for team duties
  • Support CEO and President with personal tasks
  • Order executive food and beverages as needed
  • Manage event supplies and conduct weekly and monthly inventories
  • Lead event registration and check-in process ensuring smooth operations
  • Train new hires on the 10X event app registration equipment
  • Update event website and track event collateral and equipment
