Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Open availability
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
  • Ability to move and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • No supervisory experience required

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator or host(ess) prior to functions and make introductions
  • Ensure all arrangements are agreeable and review banquet event orders
  • Read and analyze banquet event order to gather guest information and determine proper setup and timeline
  • Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements and follow up to ensure compliance
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and report any accidents or unsafe conditions
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance and protect company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and anticipate their service needs
