Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in event coordination or customer service preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Must be able to engage in the interactive process for reasonable accommodation as needed

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities
  • Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate events with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails and making phone calls
  • Adjust plans and events based on client’s feedback and needs
  • Create backup or emergency plans as needed
  • Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each event
  • Help customers shop and locate products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Engage customers on rewards and credit card programs
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • Assist with omnichannel processes including BOPIS and SFS
  • Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to SOPs and company policies
  • Interact respectfully with others and act as a role model
  • Cross-trained in custom framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
